Medical Center

As a part of its social obligation, the Management of the Karkhana has established a Medical Center in the premises of the Karkhana with modern building and equipped with all instruments and facilities to render the medical needs not only to its workers and staff but also to the population residing in the surrounding of this complex. The prime object of this venture is to extend the medical facilities to the weaker section at nominal charge. At present the Medical Center is having four well-qualified doctors with vast experience in the line and to start with this medical unit is set-up with 25 beds and expanded upto 60 beds. Moreover, the Medical Center is having Two Ambulance so as to enable it to transfer the serious patients to far away place like Miraj and Sangli for special treatment purpose. Medical Center has X-ray Machine, Physiotherapy Section, well-equipped operation theater. Karkhana has Heart Specialist, Orthro Specialist, E. N. T. Specialist, Dentist on honorary basis. Eye checkup and operations, all type of body checkup, family planning programs are conducted by the Medical Center.By rendering better medical services in concessional charges to the patients in our area of operation, there is substantial increase in the patients in our Medical Center, therefore 25 Beds is inadequate.  Taking into consideration the said situation, the Management of our Complex had decided to expand the hospital building upto 50 Beds alongwith various medical equipments with latest technology. The financial arrangement shall meet out by deducting Rs. 10/- PMT from the Sugarcane Bills during the Crushing Season 2007-2008 to the extent of Rs. 110.00 Lakhs. Further for Medical Equipments deduction was made @ Rs. 7/- PMT during the season 2008-2009 to the extent of Rs. 61.25 Lakhs. Medical Center is totally implemented by financial support by our cane growers. The total investment for the said Medical Center is Rs. 263.92 Lakhs.
